01Who runs this site

Plan to List (plantolist.com) is operated by Julie. Property-specific pages built on this site, like M Streets Tudor, are also covered by this policy. If you have questions about anything here, see the Contact section below.

02What information is collected

This site is intentionally simple. It doesn’t have visitor accounts, logins, or a public comment system — so there isn’t much to collect. In practice, information reaches us in two ways:

  • You submit a form. The waitlist and “Become a Founding Home” forms ask for your first name, last name, and email address. Nothing else is required.
  • You reach out directly. If you email or call/text the number listed on the site, we’ll have whatever contact information you shared with us that way.

We don’t currently use analytics or ad-tracking tools on this site. Your web browser and hosting provider automatically send standard technical information (like your IP address and browser type) to any web server you visit, including ours — that’s normal web traffic, not something we actively collect or review.

03How the waitlist forms work

When you submit a waitlist or “Founding Home” form, your name and email go directly to Mailchimp, the email marketing service we use to manage sign-ups. We use Mailchimp’s free tier, which is part of why these forms only ask for a name and email rather than a longer message.

Two separate lists. The main Plan to List waitlist and the M Streets Tudor waitlist are kept in two separate Mailchimp accounts. Signing up for one does not add you to the other.

Mailchimp may use standard technical data (like IP address) for spam and deliverability purposes, per their own policy. We only use the lists to follow up about the specific home or service you signed up for — we don’t sell, rent, or share this list with anyone else.

Mailchimp’s own privacy policy, which governs how they handle the data once submitted, is available at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.

04Other third-party services

A couple of other outside services support how this site runs:

ServiceWhat it’s forWhat it sees
Google FontsLoads the typefaces used across the siteStandard technical request data (like IP address), per Google’s own policy
MailchimpManages waitlist sign-ups and follow-up emailsName and email address you submit via a form

This site is built on WordPress with the Kadence theme. Neither collects visitor data beyond what’s described above — WordPress’s own account/login cookies apply only to site administrators, not to visitors browsing the site.

05How long data is kept

Contact form and waitlist submissions are kept in Mailchimp until you ask to be removed, or until the property or service you signed up for is no longer active — whichever comes first. Direct emails, calls, or texts are kept as long as reasonably needed to follow up with you.

06Your choices and rights

You can ask to be removed from any waitlist at any time — every Mailchimp email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can just reach out directly and we’ll remove you. You can also ask what information we have on file for you, or ask us to delete it, using the contact details below.

Filling out a form or reaching out doesn’t commit you to anything. It just starts a conversation.

07How data is protected

Form submissions are sent directly to Mailchimp over an encrypted connection — we don’t separately store or export the list ourselves. We take reasonable steps to keep the site itself secure, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% guaranteed.

Plan to List gives homeowners a polished pre-listing presence — for anyone who isn’t quite ready for the MLS yet.
